As you may or may not know we recently teamed up with our friends at Fool's Gold Records and made a really rad iPhone 5 Solo wallet together. So, in order to celebrate properly and hook you, our most loyal friends and followers up we decided to give a few of these limited pieces away via our social media. These won't last long.....

If you are (somehow) not familiar with Coachella it is a music festival that happens a few miles outside of Palm Springs CA. The festival brings people from all the over the world together for two weekends in the desert and features only the biggest and best musical acts known. So, once we decided that we just had to be out there for Weekend 1 we also knew that it would be a great time to simultaneously introduce #TheHEXList in a different type of way than things we have done in the past. During this first weekend some of the best parties you will ever attend in your life are happening, most of them at the same time while others in places that you could never imagine. So, it's only fitting that we share a small sampling of the chaotic craziness that is Coachella and some of our experiences this go-around.

We decided that our base camp for the trip should be The Sagauro Hotel. We checked in Friday afternoon and started setting up the private VIP gifting suite for Saturday.

Overkill? As you can see above marketing manager Mr. Carl was well prepared to snap photos documenting all weekend long with his arsenal of various digital, 35mm and Polaroid cameras. Honestly though, he was also doing some last minute R&D for our new Gear Bag which is just starting to roll out now. His main job was keeping control over Neran and TK as you will come to see...

After setting up the suite it was time to hit the first party of the weekend. The good folks at Hennessy teamed up with Details Magazine and took over a private residence to host one hell of a shindig...oh, ya, and this guy named Nas was performing as well!

Nas, the man, myth and legend himself...talk about relevancy...what a show.

Dev rocked and opened up the evening. Her spunky demeanor thoroughly impressed us.

With all the Henny being drank what better way to soak it all up then with some FatBurger?

Yes those are teepees, and yes we were still at the Hennessy party...when you’re in the desert tepees are acceptable for meeting up with your friends and collecting your thoughts or figuring out which party to hit up next...obviously, we were always looking for the next party...duh. Thankfully for our friends Jesse and Ian over at DUB Frequency we didn't have to think too hard and with a quick text we were out and on to the next spot...the WILDFOX party. Continue reading →

As many of you know and we're sure are anticipating Coachella is literally right around the corner...so close you can almost touch it...right within your grasp...yet seemingly far enough away that you can't physically squeeze it yet...no worries-just a few more days and we will be right there with you! However, what we're doing this year is being kept somewhat under wraps and hidden deep within the Coachella party boat chastity belt, so, you're just gonna have to keep close tabs on us if you really wanna come and party. That's just about all the info we can divulge at the present moment but be sure to closely monitor us (@ShopHex) on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and you just very well could get invited to the secret spot of the year...peace!

As many of you know or have heard by now we also teamed up with our friends at Fool's Gold Records this year to throw one dope party on Saturday-the last official "go big or go home" night of SXSW...and boy was it a banger! Held a little bit out of the hustle and bustle of the city and a couple miles inland at The Annex (right next to Emo's) this party was no joke and the fans came ready to rock. Hours before the doors even opened the line was literally stretching across the building so I'm sure you can imagine what it was like inside once the party actually kicked off with fans possessing that much dedication. A video will be on the way from the homies at Fool's Gold shortly, but in the meantime please enjoy some of the photos we shot...and yes...we used film for a solid portion of these...bringing it back baby, bringing it back. We hope you enjoy and look out for us at Coachella as that's the next stop on our party circuit...

When we have contests...you, our loyal fans win! And, as many of you know yesterday was April Fool's Day so this year we decided to get in on the action and take one of our most favorite devices from yester-year, the Apple Newton, make a bag for it and then proceed to promote it as if it were one of our latest and greatest products for one of the latest and greatest gadgets. Some of you may have caught on right away, however, either way even if you did not many of you got right in on the fun with us and not only helped spread the word but also participated in our #HEXnewton social media contest where you had the chance to win the Newton and bag we made for it in their own right. So, thank you all very much!

Speaking of the Instagram contest after much deliberation and combing over many entries we have decided that the Apple Newton and HEX Cross Body bag will be going to live with @kolbydukes who has been chosen as our grand prize winner!!!
