Last Saturday night we had the pleasure of teaming up with LA Record at Footsie's Bar to throw one of the baddest after parties of this years FYF show. The bar was literally packed by 10pm and chalk full of eager people waiting to see the three bands we had slated to play: The Shrine, Feeding People and Savage Gospel. The back parking lot/stage area was shoulder to shoulder and as the music started the night just got better and better. Then, as the evening wore on it was a pleasure to venture inside and be serenaded by DJ duo Roach Cock, which is actually acclaimed music artist Hanni El Khatib and his lovely girlfriend Megan. This was literally one of the best nights we have had in awhile and if you are a fan of music, then you need to check these bands out, but more importantly if you didn't make it then you best get off your couch and show up at our next one!

Yesterday we ventured out for some Labor Day celebrations at the Fool's Gold Day Off concert in NYC. The parking lot of City Winery was filled with kids who came out to see Just Blaze, Brothers Macklovitch, Nick Catchdubs, Flatbush Zombies, Danny Brown and more. The event was so wild the cops shut it down before head liner French Montana could get on. Last Friday we met up with the SMOG boys down at the Avalon in Hollywood where they packed the club full and brought out some of their finest DJ's including Flinch, NoahD, Juggernaut and of course our main man 12th Planet (amongst a couple others) for their self titled "Takeover". Needless to say the club was going crazy, especially seeing as this party didn't end until 5am. We were thoroughly impressed with the level of talent on the bill as well as the party vibe throughout the house-everybody was pretty much going bananas the whole time. Last week we jetted down to Austin Texas for SXSW, which if you aren't familiar is one of the biggest music festivals in the continental United States. In all honestly, I have no idea why they call it a festival, SXSW is unlike anything else I have ever seen in the sense that the whole city participates-not just one area fenced off with multiple stages. Everywhere you turn, around every corner you walk, live music is awaiting. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of bodies in the streets doing who knows what. Below is a photo recap of some of our favorite moments, in a few days we will be posting complete recaps from the Vibe House and W Hotel events that we sponsored, which were a massive success.

Our homeys and two prolific DJ's, Green Lantern (hat) and Vice (beanie) spent some time with us during Project.

Whew, this week has been a doozy! On Monday we jetted off for Las Vegas to attend Project Show and proceeded to throw ourselves smack dab in the middle of all the hooplah that surrounds it. From the actual show itself, to hotel bars, Karmaloop parties, hanging with some of our favorite retailers and meeting up with good friends DJ Green Lantern and DJ Vice (who owned the Marquee by the way) we had quite the run.
