Our homeys and two prolific DJ's, Green Lantern (hat) and Vice (beanie) spent some time with us during Project.
Whew, this week has been a doozy! On Monday we jetted off for Las Vegas to attend Project Show and proceeded to throw ourselves smack dab in the middle of all the hooplah that surrounds it. From the actual show itself, to hotel bars, Karmaloop parties, hanging with some of our favorite retailers and meeting up with good friends DJ Green Lantern and DJ Vice (who owned the Marquee by the way) we had quite the run. Check out the slew of photos as what follows is a few days of mayhem and pandemonium...
The HEX booth was a show stopper.

Last month we co-sponsored an insane Kendrick Lamar show at the Music Box theater in Hollywood to benefit Project RISHI and the DWC. And today, we were sent this amazing video from our friend MK-1 who was afforded some insane on-stage access. Peep the video below, and for a full in-depth story about Kendrick check out MK's vimeo page!
This past Friday at the Music Box in Hollywood, right on the infamous Hollywood Blvd to be exact, we teamed up with the fine folks over at Project RISHI to help sponsor a hip-hop show for the ages. Headlining the show was none other than Kendrick Lamar-who is probably the hottest thing in the world of hip-hop coming out of LA right now, along with DJ Green Lantern and Lamar's fellow TDE (Top Dawg Ent.) cast mate Schoolboy Q. Each of those three put on a performance that never saw the crowd stop moving, and pretty much set the tone for the evening. Opening acts Azad Right and Tiron & Ayomari also had a good showing, but the night truly belonged to hip-hop and it's king for the evening, Kendrick Lamar. I have never seen a crowd so pumped and responsive, with people knowing every single word to every song and even what Kendrick was going to say between breaks...it was amazing!
